Bremskerl North America is the US sales office of Bremskerl Reibbelagwerke Emerling & Co KG based in Nienburg/Weser, Germany with US headquarters located in Arlington Heights, IL. Conductix-Wampfler Conductix-Wampfler (Insul-8) is a specialist in mobile and crane electrification systems. They offer a range of conductor bar, cable reel, motor driven cable reel, festoon, slip ring and pendant systems. Conductix products can be found on overhead and port cranes, mine machines, conveyors and mass transit systems. Depending on the application requirements, Conductix can customer engineer an electrification system. Eaton Airflex Thomas Fawick designed the original Airflex clutch for use in marine propulsion. The pneumatic drum style clutches and brakes can also be used in the metal working, marine, oilfield, mining and paper industries. The most popular drum models include the VC, CB and E style. The VC and CB are constricting brakes, while the E is an expanding brake. Eaton Airflex clutches and brakes can transmit torques up to 1,266,000 ft-lbs (1,706,000 NM). Wichita Clutch Wichita Clutch has been manufacturing pneumatic clutches and brakes in Wichita Falls, TX since 1949. Wichita’s units were originally designed for use in oilfield applications. The clutches and brakes are also used in heavy-duty applications in metal working, mining, marine and paper industries. Wichita’s air tube disc design combines the features of disc type units with direct air engagement. The Kopper Kool model offers excellent heat dissipation for applications that require continuous slipping for tension control. Wichita clutches and brakes are available to transmit torques from 3 to 1,240,000 ft-lbs (4 to 1,681,000 NM). |
